Boys & Girls 4th/5th grade, 6th/7th grade and 8th grade participants are guaranteed a minimum of 7 games played from November 14th – January 10th ending in a single-elimination tournament. The G.E.B.L will consist of 8 boys 4th/5th grade teams, 8 girls 4th/5th grade teams, 8 boys 6th/7th grade teams, 8 girls 6th/7th grade teams, 8 boys 8th grade teams and 6 girls 8th grade teams. Boys will play on Saturday and Girls will play on Sunday. School Feeder Teams Only.
- All registrations are completed on a Pre Assembled Team basis. The team coach will register themselves and then send out invitation to players/parents to complete registration.
- Team Fee: $750 per team with a minimum of 8 players. No roster adjustments after opening weekend.
- All teams are encouraged to supply their own game jerseys. If assistance is needed with jerseys, our staff will be able to assist.
- Rules: A five minute warm-up is allowed prior to each league game. League games will be two 14 minute (traditional clock) halves. One 30 sec time out is allowed per half as well as two floating full timeouts. A three minute break at the half will be utilized. First overtime is 2 minutes. Second overtime is sudden death (first basket wins).
- Player and fan/parents conduct will be strictly enforced. Fighting results in an immediate dismissal from the G.E.B.L without refund. The G.E.B.L staff will not be responsible for forfeits. 4 on 4 play is allowed. *Some contests may participate in the Elam Ending format*
- The G.E.B.L will observe all IHSAA guidelines that are applicable to the age group. Boys 4th/5th grade teams and all girls teams will use a basketball size of 28.5 inches. All other age levels will use a basketball size of 29.5 inches. All teams will play on 10 feet goals.
- Spectators will be charged a $5 admission fee each week. Children 12 and under receive free entry. Pass outs will be available. Coaches bench coaches will receive free admission upon signing in.
