2026 Pocket City Basketball Girls Fall X-League

She’s back! The Pocket City Basketball Girls Fall X-League returns this September, providing girls in 5th–8th grade with four Sundays of competitive basketball in a fun, organized team environment.

League Information

Dates: September 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2026
Location: Evansville Bosse High School
Divisions: 5th/6th Grade and 7th/8th Grade
Registration Fee: $165 per player
Spectator Admission: $10 each Sunday; children 12 and younger are free

Family registration discounts are available. Space is limited, and a waiting list will be used once all spots have been filled.

All registrations must be completed individually. Players may register without a team and will be placed into the individual player pool.

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS: We’re excited to offer game-play opportunities for you as well. Weekly invitations and details will be shared for organized open runs held on the same Sundays as league play, providing additional opportunities to compete, stay active and prepare for the upcoming season.

League Format

Teams will play two games each Sunday during the first three weeks. The league will conclude on September 27 with a single-elimination tournament to crown a champion in each division.

Games will begin at 12:15 PM, with the final game scheduled to start at 6:15 PM. Complete schedules will be released before the league begins.

Each participant will receive a full custom Pocket City Basketball game uniform to keep. Jerseys will feature the player’s last name on the back and must be worn during all league contests.

Games will consist of two 20-minute running-clock halves. The clock will stop during the final minute, and the league will follow all applicable IHSAA guidelines. Player, coach and spectator conduct will be strictly enforced.

Pre-Assembled Teams

A limited number of pre-assembled school or feeder-system teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Travel teams are not permitted to participate as pre-assembled teams.

Each team must have a designated head coach, at least eight individually registered players and a roster consisting of players who feed into the same high school. Once all players have registered, the head coach must email the roster, including player names and schools, to pocketcitybasketball@gmail.com.

Pocket City Basketball will verify roster eligibility and make all final team-approval decisions. Players who are not included on an approved roster may be placed into the individual player pool.
