With the uncertainty surrounding the Spring/Summer travel basketball season, both Pocket City Basketball and the Evansville Basketball Academy want to provide an outlet for the High School aged boys to get back to competing in the sport they love.

The Inaugural Pocket City Basketball Summer X-League – Powered by EBA, will feature game action beginning on June 19th for 9th-12th grade boys. Players will compete in 8 league play games over an 6 week period. Games are held on Friday’s and/or Sunday at the Evansville Basketball Academy. All participants will receive a t-shirt to keep that will be worn for all league play games. The Summer X-League will observe all IHSAA guidelines. Typically, no more than 9 players will be on the majority of league teams. All league teams will be balanced out for competitive play with placement assistance coming from school ball coaches and other regional basketball advisors.

The Summer X-League will allow the players in The Pocket the opportunity to knock of some rust while playing in an organized, competitve environment, while receiving exposure opportunities from the likes of the Evansville Courier and Press, Courtside Indiana, BaumHoops, (812)-Hoops, Cornfield Hoops, In The Gym Hoops and many others.

**COVID-19 Safety Protocols will be in place to limit crowd size. Only ONE (1) Adult will be allowed entry into to the facility to spectate. Siblings and non-playing youth, under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend at this time. In conjunction with the Evansville Basketball Academy and local health officials, we will be regularly our safety policies to best meet the safety of the community**
