2021 Boys #PCBXLeague – Presented by Pocket City Basketball

7th and 8th grade (Junior High) participants are guaranteed a minimum of 7 games played over five weeks. 9th – 12th grade (High School) participants are guaranteed a minimum of 7 games played over four weeks. Junior High plays on Saturday (Games begin on Oct. 9 at 2:30 pm and last game time is 7:30 pm). High School plays on Sunday (Games begin on Oct. 10 at 11:30 am and last game time is 8 pm).
The 2021 Fall X-League will consist of new options for players and parents with the partnership with Prep Ball Stars. All players will have the opportunity to participate in open player recruiting forums, player interview preparation and much more courtesy of Prep Ball Stars.
#PCBXleague2021 Details
- All registrations are completed on an individual basis. The #PCBXLeague will feature Junior High and High School Division levels.
- Costs: Early Bird Special: $135. Regular Fee: $150. (Other family discounts are available). A waiting list will be utilized once all spots are filled.
- Participants will receive a full game uniform to keep to be worn for all league contests.
- Rules: A five minute warm-up is allowed prior to league games. League games will be two 20 minute (running clock) quarters. Clock will stop during the last minute of the game. One 30 sec time out is allowed per half as well as one floating full timeout. A timed minute break between quarters and three minute break at the half will be utilized. First overtime is 2 minutes. Second overtime is sudden death (first basket wins). Player and fan/parents conduct will be strictly enforced. Fighting results in an immediate dismissal from the X-League without refund. Pocket City Basketball will not be responsible for forfeits. 4 on 4 play is allowed. *Some contests may participate in the Elam Ending format*
- The Fall X-League will observe all IHSAA guidelines. No more than three players from the same high school will be placed on the same league team (rule does not apply to Junior High participants). Typically, no more than ten players will be on the majority of league teams. All teams are balanced out for competitive play by the school ball coaches, Pocket City Basketball staff and other regional basketball scouts.
- Spectators will be charged a $5 admission fee each week. Children 12 and under receive free entry. Pass outs will be available. Coaches, referees and media members will receive free admission upon signing in.
- Collegiate Exposure: Division III, NAIA and Junior Colleges will be invited to be in attendance for the JV and Varsity division levels. NCAA rules may prevent Division I/II head coaches from attending during this period.
- Various scouting services will be in attendance. An updated list of confirmed services will be updated periodically.
