Coach Ryan Haywood is in his first year as a coach with Pocket City Basketball 10U (Class of 2026). Currently, he is the Head Coach at Princeton Community High School where he has lead the Tigers to the 2013 – 2014 Big Eight Conference championship. Coach Haywood came to Princeton after spending 2005-2011 as the Head Coach at Mt. Carmel High School (IL). At Mt. Carmel, Coach Haywood spearheaded a program that won the school’s first Sectional Championship since 1944 and 3 Regional Championships. Coach Haywood is a Two time winner of the IBCA, Coach of the Year Award.
Coach received his BS in Physical Education and Health from Eastern Illinois University. Ryan Haywood is married to wife, Tiffany and have 3 children, Camden (9), Jayden (4) and Taylor (2).
