2026 SOS Uniform

The Pocket City Basketball Annual “Summer of Separation” has evolved into a more focused Development Academy format designed to provide co-ed campers in grades 2nd–6th with a high-level basketball training experience centered around skill development, basketball IQ, competition, confidence building, and overall player growth.
As the program has continued to grow, the academy structure now emphasizes smaller instructional groups, increased repetitions, more individualized teaching, and structured live play to create a more intentional developmental environment for all campers. Throughout the four-week academy, players will receive specialized instruction in ball handling, shooting, finishing, passing, footwork, spacing, decision making, and overall game development through a combination of station work, competitive play, and guided teaching sessions.
The “Summer of Separation” Development Academy is designed for players of all ability levels and creates an environment that is both challenging and enjoyable. Our academy counselors feature experienced school and travel coaches, Pocket City Basketball alumni, and high-level players committed to teaching the game the right way while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, effort, and confidence.
In addition to the weekly academy sessions, players will also have access to supplemental development open gym nights designed to provide additional opportunities for skill work, live play, and competition throughout the summer experience.
Campers are grouped according to age and ability level to maximize instruction, player engagement, and overall basketball development.
